Democratic Design Days (DDD) is IKEA’s annual flagship event that showcases its design philosophy. It’s a global stage where form, function, price, quality, and sustainability are explored to improve life at home, targeting media and influencers worldwide. TGE created the identity and the implemented it alongside with creative concepts of content.
IDEA
Create a platform to discuss IKEA’s vision for better living. By embracing collaboration and experimentation, the event becomes a playful space for new ideas and unexpected design outcomes, blending creativity with innovation.
Our work was a reflection of this.
ATTENTION
Breaking somewhat free from the IKEA graphic identity we were able to find a interesting blend of expressions. An attractive backdrop for the teasing of prototypes and showcasing of new collaborations in unexpected ways, DDD builds curiosity and draws attention to how IKEA is redefining design, sparking interest from the design world.

Creating a relevant and interesting stage for the exclusive content, previews, and insider access made DDD a success. With creative direction, graphic design, scenography, and content production, the TGE team together with many others ensured that DDD transformed IKEA’s design identity, reshaping it as a bold, influential force in the global design world.
